Best Email Newsletter Software?

Can anyone advise what they think is the best email marketing software, beit pc-based or web-based, just looking for the most cost effective solution.

It depends on wheather you really want the best, or you want something cheap and decent.

It also depends on how big your list is etc.

I actually use two companies, one charges me $20 a month and the other charges me £1000 a month. If you want to PM me some details on what you are looking for I can advise.

Email Newsletter Software for Web Designers - Campaign Monitor is inexpensive, easy to use and gives great stats for its price. I send smaller campaigns to the USA and UK using this tool and delivery rates are as good as any other I've used. $5 per campaign and $0.01 per email. If you have a larger list (10 000+) you can get better rates.

I guess something that will handle all of the subscriptions as well as unsubscribes in an efficient manner. I have no problems with the creativity, Im just looking for an efficient and cost effective system.

mailloop is good from IMC ( email marketing software, mass email marketing, Mailloop by the Internet Marketing Center )

i was a beta tester to Version 7 ( current version )
and love it ..
good for newsletters , auto responder series.. well worth the price !

TBH.. ive actually seen a huge increase in commission propably as much as 60% since i started using it

I have always struggled looking for a good system, need something which I can upload my already opt in list.

Also, what opt in systems do these email systems have? double opt in? (so user clicks link that was emailed to them?)

mailloop allows you to upload huge lists in csv format
and yes double optin will require replying to confirmation email which is fully customisable

I felt nauseous trying to look at that mailoop page - ARe they trying to sell me viagra or some self-help course. No offence meant, but what a hideous way to try and sell someting.

Ditto to campaign monitor - it's superb, I'm just putting together a mail out with it now - been using it a year and have to say I love it to bits. User friendly, brilliant pricing, top supporting materials, etc.
