What I am doing for the seo are submit the site to search engine and directories.
write as many useful contents on my site and inbound links.

I have changed the look of my site.

Hi

The search box can be easily missed, it would be better in the main body of the page.

Use of the background picture is a nice touch, but the sand looks grey, if you used a picture showing nice yellow golden sand it would give a better impression.

Get some news items into the home page somehow to make the home page look current. Change CHECK THIS OUT! menu item to news.

Can I know any reason that I should change the link 'CHECK THIS OUT!'?
I was plan to put hot products and sale/discount in that link but I haven't put any in there, and I thought it is for an eye catching link, so visitors can click that link.
and yes it is one of the links that lot of visitors click.

Anyway I have changed the link to 'Our-News', cause I don't see the benefit now when people click 'CHECK THIS OUT!' link

About the background Image, yes I feel that too and
I am still trying to find a good image.
