  3rd Party Ad Tracking

I know that Google offers 3rd party tracking via Analytics. However, it appears you can only track conversion of one "Goal" (note adwords not analytics).

Can anyone recommend a tracking solution that will allow us to tack variable goals?

Or do we have to go down the Dart route?

Hi,

Do you mean Adwords conversion tracking as opposed to analytics as you can set up to 4 goals using analytics (you can add these in the edit settings section).

I believe you can also set up multiple goals with conversion tracking as well - there is an option to create a new action within the conversion tracking page.

Regards

  Re: 3rd Party Ad Tracking

Sorry Jon,

My mistake. We've got Adwords fully covered. It's just they advertise on a varitey of "aggregator sites" on various cpc rates. Sometimes they even have a mixture of CPC and CPA on various parts of the same site. Using Google Analytics may be excellent, but when those sites use a variety of domain names like XY.co.uk and X-U.co.uk it becomes all a bit unmanagable.

I was hoping to have one tracking url for each CPC and CPA campaign and then it'll be more robust than using Google Analaytics and more accurate than Google's 3rd party tracking which doesn't appear to allow for numerous 'goals' being tracked.
