What are the best ways to increase conversion rate through press release & articles?

Hi,

I am looking for the best ways to publish press releases and submit articles to increase the conversion rate to my website. I have searched in google about press release service like pr.com. But, most of them are expensive and only limited to their channels.

I want to find new channels to publish contents for my website and submit some articles. But, I am a bit afraid about putting in the wrong channels which don't give targeted visitors to my website.

Could anyone help me to decide the best ways to put press releases? Beside the article submission software, is there any other alternative to submit articles, if possible articles with pictures?

Please help me to bring more targeted visitors which will increase conversion rate.

If anyone could help or even direct me to right place and teach me how to understand web promotion to targeted visitors, I would really appreciate it.

PS: if anyone could also tell me how to invite affiliates into a new affiliate programs, I would be really grateful.

I am not a great fan of press releases. It can only draw traffic at a limited period of time.

Better invest on SEO for the long term.
