I bought a PR6 dropped domain yesterday. I guarantee that at the next toolbar update I'll be lucky if it's PR2 but If anybody wants to buy the whole domain for $400 I'd be interested, you could put as many links on it as you wanted to then, even sell a few to mugs if you make sure you're untraceable when they come looking for you.
I brought a months subscription to the PR6 site for testing purposes and it has worked well... except that the site has dropped to PR3 after a week... doh.
Google's position on paid link directories is well known, sooner or later any site like this will be added to their ignored list. And your own site could be penalised if they decide you have been buying links. Me no touchy with big barging pole.
