Re: How tro promote a whitelabel mobile site
If your just a starter - try going for long tail stuff. eg "'pink' latest phone" or anticiapte the market of 'pink' phones and pre emptively make pages for them (never tried it!). Its a hard business to get into with seo in all honesty - I try but only make a bit from mobiles.
Watch TV and other media adverts and try to catch onto what there 'catch phrases' are and incorporate them into your site. Try any phrase or 'keywords' they have missed - by marketting on the web with their multi million pound advert yourself - a catch phrase maybe. Try thinking outside of your normal thinking -- some people search for wierd stuff like - 'i want a nokia 6630, whats the cheapest' - these are phrases you can come top on if you tried. You may only make one contract a year off it - but there are hundred of phones realeased every year. 100 x £60 a contract signup is a start for a small business.
Its just one approach of many...... my main advise is keep going, even if it takes a couple of years to take off - it'll be worth it in the end.
My main concern is how much control do you have on your 'whitelabel' site - what network do you have it from?
