I'm looking for something simple for a client and would be grateful for any feedback on any new products on the block or the ones you use and are happy with ...
Price free to reasonable, simpicity of use, they need to build the database so easy data information input etc ..

I used to use email reaction, their interface and features are not simple for a newbie as you specified, but the system is very robust and offers an a-z of mailing features. They have rebranded and are now known as Email Marketing uk - for email campaigns with bottom line results if you want to take a look.
