Did you read the previous reply to a problem about posting?

I agree the SAVE and SUBMIT buttons are not what everyone is used to, but you press SUBMIT not SAVE... unless you are talking about another problem what im not aware of, as usual you are being very vague Andrew lol

The 'SAVE is to save to drafts, the SUBMIT is to post.

Ive posted ok so im not aware of any other problems.

Well, that took some sorting out, you can post now, although im not sure if I have set the correct permissions.. I wouldn't be surprised if you all had admin access lol.

Please let me know if you think anything seems incorrect.

The forum seems fine but it is quite strange having a save button there

Any chance of changing that in the template?

I have had a quick look but cannot find anything obvious to remove it, I suppose it would be useful if you get interupted in the middle of a long post then you get the option to 'SAVE' it to drafts, then when you need to post it you simply press 'LOAD' or something like that.

Unhappy Re: icodes.co.uk is now live!

I thought this idea was fantastic and would save me a big headache, but (yes there's always one isn't there!).......

I think I was among the first who applied to join up to this. I spent time setting it up and corresponding with Leeky on a few hiccups, although he was unable to clear up my problem with duplicate merchants.

So I was disappointed when I recently happened to come across this thread. Why? Because apparently they are apparently now charging for it but didn't inform those who had signed up.

OK, I admit that the subdomain I registered is still live - but were you ever going to inform me? What if I didn't see this thread at all? Is it really too much to ask to send an email to those who were told it was free when they registered? I was even corresponding with Leeky at the time this thread had started, yet he didn't inform me. OK, I haven't worked on the site for a couple of weeks due to other problems, but what if I have been working hard on it and didn't see this thread - presumably at some stage you would delete the sub-domain and I would've wasted all that time.

I was looking at working on it today (before I caught up with this thread) and noticed that there are a lot of vouchers that are on there that are actually out of date - they had an incorrect date of 31 aug 2009 instead of 31 aug 2008. There is no way for me to edit those vouchers. How many more are incorrect that I didn't notice?

OK, rant over.

That's not very fair, I think as a sign of good faith that the people who signed up when it was free should be allowed to keep it for free as it's as if they signed up under false pretences. Maybe they wouldn't have paid for it had they'd known but they now feel they have no choice after they have put so much effort into it.

  Re: icodes.co.uk is now live!

The only domains I have deleted of those which did not pay are the ones who didn't put any effort in at all apart from *maybe* activating the merchants (a couple of clicks of a button).

babrees, im aware of your domain and that you did put in some effert which is why your domain is still live, asking for payment from you was not priority and I certainly would not have deleted it without getting a reply from you confirming that you didnt think the domain was worth the money.

I can assure you that any domains which have been deleted were 100% not used and not paid for and were no loss what so ever to the affiliate who requested the sub domain name.

We have 2 top level domains which I haven't yet deleted even though I have asked for payment a couple of times without a reply, yes they are suspended (cannot login), but not deleted.

kylah16 - Im not aware which domain you applied for, but if it was deleted it was deleted because it was unused. You would have had a valid point saying you should have got it for free (even though it was in beta stage), but you cannot expect it for free if no effort was put in when you had the chance.... please correct me if im wrong.
