  Re: icodes.co.uk is now live!

From what I can see you now have a working site with over 340 voucher codes non of which you have had to add, and at the most will cost you £1 per week which is fully hosted and updated by all of us, a site inwhich is constantly being upgraded with new features and improving daily without any more input needed from you if you don't want to add to anything yourself.

If you do want to add a voucher code all you need to do is select the merchant from your admin area and it will show you all the codes already listed, if you find that code in the list you don't need to add it, if it isn't in the list then you may add it.

I cannot really see the headache, especially when so far its cost you £0 per week.

The duplicate merchants your seeing in the drop down menu is caused by the version of firefox browser you are using.

I have not deleted any voucher codes since reading your post, the last voucher codes I deleted was a while ago due to them having incorrect dates, so your complaint about any out of date voucher codes was dealt with by me before anyone had the chance to complain about them.

I would love to see how much of a better job you can do starting from scratch, then continually having to find, enter and update your codes with no body involved to tell you which codes are incorrect.

Can you please send payment of £49 to paypal@icodes.co.uk in order for me to keep your domain active, if you no longer require your domain for whatever reason please either confirm it by email, pm or post here

Cheers

Lee

hmm, this has all rather got out of hand with misunderstandings galore Perhaps that'll teach me to post without thinking first after I've had a very bad day, was in pain and feeling very grumpy!

Actually what I said was that I thought this was a fantastic idea and would SAVE me a headache - not give me one Barbara then queried how it would save me.

I have them when I view in FFv.2, FFv.3 and IE7, so I can't see that. But not to worry - I didn't mean to make a big deal out of it, have never actually complained about it, merely mentioned it!

WHOA there! If you look back at our correspondence you will see that I have had nothing but praise and thanks, and how I realise what a task you have taken on! The only thing I have really said is that I was disappointed that you hadn't informed those registered of the fact that you were charging and was worried that it would've been deleted. I even apologised to you for doing it on this forum instead of privately to you. Seems I can't do anything right

Thanks Lee, but I guess I'll just carry on doing it the way I have done it for the past 3 years.

Hi Babrees

There has been no misunderstandings from what I can see :-), thanks for being one of the beta testers, it would have been nice to have you carry on after it went live, but its obviously not suited to your needs at this moment.

Ill now go and delete your account, please remember you can always sign up again whenever you like.

Kind regards

Lee

The DGM network is now live on icodes, you can find your dgm affiliate id by loggin onto dgm going to 'datafeeds' then clicking 'easy links'.

The next network to be added will be silvertap

Hi Baz, nice to hear from you eventually :-)

I'll re-activate your account so you can login and see the improvements we have made and if your happy with them just send £199 via paypal to paypal@icodes.co.uk, if not just let me know mate.

I noticed your site is getting a few good positions in google so things are looking good.

We will shortly be giving the option to replace our google ads, this maybe free for full domains we haven't decided yet.

Cheers

Lee

  Re: icodes.co.uk is now live!

Yes I noticed (may have had more, going to look now) a sale with £10 commission today from one of the icodes merchants (thanks for the clickref tracking btw) which reminded me of actually having the domain again

I have sent the dosh over and will take a look at the new interface in a mo. I must say that the idea is def a good one. The one thing I am concerned about is however someone publishing a code thats not supposed to be used in the affiliate channel. Is there anyway in the interface that I can turn off the 'code pool' for a particular merchant. The only reason is, is that I have loads of merchants that I have organised not to publish codes for because they have requested that I frequent from doing so. If someone else loads a code in for one of these merchants and it appears on the site with my ID I may be - well looked on as an arse.

That saying I think its a really good concept, keep up the good work. All I gota do is make another £190 and I have made my money back!!

Cheers man

  Re: icodes.co.uk is now live!

Cheers Baz, money received... I almost got bored of refreshing the paypal page waiting for it......... only joking, i didnt get bored lol.

At the moment you can only turn of a merchant, but we were looking into turning off individual codes due to other reason someone mentioned ie when a generic code offers the same deal as an exclusive code you may have on, but your point is more valid so it will be done.

I made £75 on one sale yesterday from one of our demo icodes sites (not checked any other sales), it was from an insurance merchant who doesn't have a code, but the site can be used to promote merchants without codes also with the option of adding content html and text to any merchant page, and when we introduce custom pages this will open it up more.

If you can think of any more improvements suggestions you can post them in the icodes forum, this way we can keep a track and make sure they are all done.
