Pagerank10 security problem has come to light.

OK, ill get straight to the point... it is recommended you check your affiliate id's on your pagerank10 pages as it has come to our attention that it has been possible once logged into your account that you can manually edit the url in the browser and get access to other pages.

The person who reported this has checked all their pages and nothing has been touched, likewise with our own, but I decided to let everyone know just incase.

It would have been much easier for me to cover this up, but this proves we are 100% honest no matter what.

Please accept our sincere apologies for this rather embarrassing and serious security issue.

If anyone does find anything untoward please record the offending affiliate id's or urls involved.

This security problem has now been fixed.

Lee

Well as its our fault email me your ids and ill check them for you.

You dont have to login to each page in your account, i would just go to the active user section, list all your pages then go through each one hovering over the link to check the ids

Yeah, i thought he meant that, wasn't sure :-)

At the moment there has been no reports of any wrong doing, but its certainly something to be concerned about, and im gutted that we left ourselves open to such an easy hack... sometimes its far too easy to over look the obvious.

Im just thankful a very honest and respected forum member and page owner pointed out the problem to us directly, without fuss or complaint :-)
