I-Frames - who can see them?

My monitor went bang the other day, so i was left for a day and a bit without a PC. During that time there was something i had to do, so i borrowed a friends PC.

Hi PC is very simlar to mine, runs the same operating system etc.

I can see the i-frames on my site, he cannot. The i-frame just reports page not found. I was hoping someone could list the things that can cause this.

Anything under NS6 can't see i f r a m e s

However, one tip is to include a noframes tag - just like u would in a normal frameset

That's a cool chart Clarke, cheers. And darren i will add the noframes code, that's cool too.

However, doesn't answer my question in full. The PC i was using was running XP pro, and it couldn't see them.

Would some firewalls do this? Or Ip blocking software?

Some of the Ad-blocking software will block i-frame tags that appear to contain advertising

He doesn't have any ad blocking software, just black ice (which i believe is a common firewall), and a small utility that blocks his IP. It doesn't claim to block anything else.

The owner of this machine is PC literate to the extent that he builds them for a living, has set windows up using default settings, more or less. He wants to see i-frames, but it won't let him LOL. He blames mopst things on his BT ADSL, and after using it i don't blame him.

I'm gonna go back to stuff i understand, dump the i-frames
