If you have PHP you could try

www.phpadsnew.com/

Haven't used it myself but it looks quite good.

Hope this helps.

Is it a banner rotation script you're looking for? If so, WebAdverts is free to download and pretty simple to set up and use.

Let me know if need any help.

Actually if your gonna compare webadverts with phpadsnew I would go with phpadsnew.

At the mo im doing around 12k per day impressions with webadverts and about 23K impressions per day with phpadsnew and webaverts uses approx 40% more resourses on half the impressions compared with phpadsnew.. tis got more features 2

You're probably right, Aqua. WebAdverts is good for most sites and, as I've said, it's a breeze to use. However, if you're looking for something more customisable or are planning to serve in excess of 100k imps daily then you will find yourself outgrowing its capabilities.

I'm actually looking into using phpads but I've only just started looking at it, so I'm not the best person to comment on it. From what I've heard though, it rocks.

What I'm looking 4 is a script that allows people to visit the site and post articles that they have for sale, along with a picture of it, no direct selling just a contact,

did something myself in php but it was crap, so i need something to fill in the gap until i learn php (months knowing me )

Not fully set up yet.Need to do some customising but it seems easy enough although I did cheat a bit and had it installed.
I was going to go with Chilliscripts until they put the price up by$100.

Well,
I started today to configure and as usual cocked up.
Went to notionlogic's forum and 2 mins later, answer to prob-sorted.
Great aftersales support.
Recommended!

  thanks!

It's amazing what you find by going through recent HTTP REFERERS on your site...

Firstly big thanks to mibut for the nice words about my classified adverts script! <img src=http://www.gamers-forums.com/smilies/contrib/ruinkai/biggthumpup.gif ALT=":thumb">

Now the reason for posting... I've been using phpAdsNew for some time now on another of my own sites and I reckon it can't be beaten!
