The pop-up is dead... long live the pop-up!
Pop-unders are what kept us afloat in 2002. And I mean keep us afloat, not help us to make loadsamoney.
Like many of the rest of you out there, we work 70 hours a week for a relative pittance. If our wage were worked out on an hourly basis, we'd probably be earning less than most of those lazy UNISON members who are always moaning about low pay.
With all these pop-under blockers, our revenue is going to signficantly decrease. Even heard that new Netscape browser has/will have pop-up blocker.
Does anybody know a way of spawning pop-ups/unders that might get around these horrendous, criminal blockers?
Instead of using pop-up blockers, if people don't want overt advertising, they should be willing to PAY for a site. Why does the BBC site have no ads? Cos we (in the UK) all pay for it. Worth every penny of the license fee I say just to have a site without banner ads.
