fireworks

i decided to use fireworks to create a navigation bar, the effect was ok but the source code is very messy, is there a function in fireworks or dreamweaver to produce tighter code, or will i have to do it by hand

You'll have to edit it by hand.

Alternatively, you could install an alternative menu systems - www.dynamicdrive.com has some good'uns.

cheers darren, i ripped it apart and just used the images to create my own rollover effects
