ive been playing with my site design, but am running out of ideas,

what do you guys think of the site, do you have any ideas to improve the site etc.

any suggestions appreciated

First thing i'd say is to take off the i apologise bit an replace it with other text......instead of using banners for ads use text links......they do convert better. Plus reduce the size of the text...use font size 10pt.

yep agree remove the apologise stuff - you've only got a short time to make an impact/impression. And yep the font is too big, how about you also change to Verdanna??

I also agree your body text is too big.
You could try placing your top black faithless banner in a full width table with a black background so it goes across the top of the two side columns, which would make good places to add a 120x60 ad or two - then you can remove the one from the left side menu.
You've also got a thin grey border between the light blue backgound and jade-blue-green page background. Try a white page background which will lift the site off the page better and make good use of the thin grey border.
Experiment with border thicknesses, current trends are thin 1pt borders, you should be able to find a combo which works better than what your currently using.
I like the sub headings, but again smaller text, hence slimmer title bars would be worth a look. Otherwise it's a simple and effective page.
