Any Linux Experts Out There?

Hi, Its Jon Carols other half.....

I'm thinking of moving over to Linux and am having some problems!!

I've just installed a copy of Mandrake 10.1 which i got from LinuxUser magazine.
All went well during the install, no errors. I chose to remove windows and erase the disk as i'm testing out Mandrake on an older PC before i move it to by main desktop.

Everythiing installed well with no errors.

When i rebooted the screen with the options Linux and Failsafe appears and i chose Linux. The screen the says the the Bios data checjk was OK and the reboots.

This loop of rebootng continues and i cant get into linux.

The bootloader is Lilo if thats any help.......

Any ideas? I installed mandrake 10.1 using all the default options.

Don;t know and command line stuff in Linux so any help would be great!!!

Aquanuke is probably the man you want to talk to.
Think he tends to be around more at night (not just cos it's halloween though!)

Problem fixed now.

Not enough memory to run on the old PC so i bit the vullet and installed it on my desktp alongside XP and its working fine.

Linux is very good....very quick!!
