Excel encasing words in " "

I've got a few columns that I'm merging into 1. I am having trouble though adding some " " around the first words I add in.
I can get it to display all the words in the order I want by just doing =A2&B2&C2, but I need the words in A2 to be encased in " "
Now if I do this ="A2"&B2&C2 it just displays the letter and number A2 followed by my other words.

I'm sure this will be a piece of cake but can't get it to do it (I've tried a combination of brackets the lot to get it to do it but can't manage to get it right

Cheers
Wardy

One way would be to use ="%"&A2&"%"&B2&C2

and then Find and Replace the % for "

I only use %, any character that your not using elsewhere would do the job

Im sure there is an easier way, but it works

There should be a way to escape the " but I can't work out what it is. Using the CHAR function will work though -

=CHAR(34)&A1&CHAR(34)&B1

How about:

=CHAR(34) & B3 & CHAR(34) & C3 & D3

Knew there was a way of escaping it -

=""""&A1&""""&B1

Re: Excel encasing words in " "

Can anyone just quick ly help with this again, instead of wanting the term in " " I want it in [ ]
I've had a fiddle with the original way but can't seem to be able to get it as I want it.
=""""&A1&""""&B1
