just a couple of things,

i need to de americanise oscommerce

how do i add customer details for UK addresses
ie.

address
town
county
postal code,

instead of suburb etc.

i need to alter check/money order to cheque/postal order

and shipping table rate/best way to 1st class post.

any ideas ive checked the configuration but cant see anything in there

Hi the easiest way would be to login through ftp and edit the language file this is in includes/languages/english.php if you can't do this login to admin:
go to tools:
go to define languages:
and change any files from there
the files should be set to the correct chmod in your webspace to be able to write to if not contact your host and ask them to do it if you don't have access
