How do I use AW direct datafeed?

Could someone direct me on this please?

I've written a script that will allow me to use csv files from various places without having to download them, change the format etc. and it uplods to my MySQL database.

I'm having a problem with the AW unzipped file as it seems to be giving me a .php file. I presumably have to save this, view the source, save it as a txt file which I can then use.

Does anyone know how to use this file format without having to go through the manual part of the sequence.

Am I getting the wrong end of the stick on this one.

I am also trying to achieve the same, I will be using XML to retrieve records then write to a tEMP file, then import into SQL.
Hope fully automatically.

I also have a problem, how do I calculate the TOP LEVEL categories belonging to a lower category (they go 7 deep)

Has anybody got any clues on this one

ParentID:3200
LevelID:3

How do I get back to parent cat without doing 3 SQL calls.

3100 - HIFI
3200 - Car Stereo
4200 - Amplifiers
