  php mysql Update
Got a simple php/mysql query just need a bit of help with guys.

I want my database to update a relevant users record page count when their page is viewed.

I imagine it is going to be something along thwese lines (but obviously changed to work)
PHP Code:
$result = mysql_query("UPDATE user SET pagecount='???' WHERE email='$email'"); 
Anyone able to fill in the errors please

Assuming pagecount is a numeric field it's easy

$result = mysql_query("UPDATE user SET pagecount=pagecount + 1 WHERE email ='$email'");
