Free link checking tool/service?

Hi,

Does anyone know a tool/service that is free and will check your site's links on a daily/weekly basis? I have used "seventwentyfour" before, but they get expensive once you have a few sites to check.

This would be handy for all those merchants that just die without any notification form the affiliate progs!

I have used one called Xenu, which is free.

The last time I used it, it got caught in a loop (possibly due to poor design of the website, which I didn't design myself) and ran for half an hour or so before I realised. On another site it registered clicks on hundreds of links which I get paid for, so I had to send a hasty apology for fear of being banned for fraud.
