Expanding a network once all ethernet connections on router used

Dear All

I have a Netgear combined router and ADSL modem, but I have now used up all the available ethernet ports on the back of it, but I need to add another computer to the network.

I have an old 12 point hub knocking around, is it just a case of making one ethernet connection from the hub to the router, and then plugging any additional computers into the hub, or is it more complicated than that?

Thanks for any comments networking experts.

Cheers

Accelerator

Yup as above just connect another ethernet cable from the uplink on the adsl/modem router into the hub
