Hi just a stupid question really, i have a mailing list that I am moving to a new system, i need to upload all the old email addresses on a doc to the new system.
1. a while ago i had a spammer sign up thousands of times with an email address ***@mail-centre.org so there are loads of different email addresses with that ending on my list. Is there an easy way to formatt this so that i don't have to go throught the list by hand deleting each spam one.
2. the new system requires me to put a space then a 0 after each email address so that it know not to send out a confirmation email to these people. Again is there an easy way to format a list of 10000 addresses so that i don't have to do this by hand.
Sorry this is a daft couple of questions but i have no idea how to do it.
Hi, if the addresses are in a csv file or any other excel compatible document you can do convert text to columns and delimit it at the @ you can then filter and mass delete all the unwanted ones, you will then need to put the addresses back together, you do this by using the concatenate function, whilst doing this you can add the space and 0. If you get stuck contact me.
Regards,
