Hi Ya
Im just wondering is any one can tell me what I am doing wrong.
I have tried to make a post on my blog and spent around seven hours on the lovely thing.

Seem like everything goes ok re text but when I try to add an image, everything becomes topsy turvey and all mixed up. Im completely frazzled

Tried it in view format and HTML format, seems like the font changes, when you get the font sorted out, the spacing goes wonky, you sort that out and add an image and now your opening sentence is now nestled nicely at the bottom. Seriously its like playing cat and mouse. I was convinced some one else had logged and was messing me about, I cant rule that out. I really miss blogger.

I have tried copying and pasting from
Word into WP
Front Page into WP
Via note pad WP
Both in view and HTML
Things just keep changing.

I feel like such a muppet (pout)

So any help would be appreciated and any one else having the same probs, oh and don’t get me started on the WP spam magnet bit!

When adding the image did you use the alignment drop down to align it? When you do the css (depending on the theme) should come in to effect and word wrap the image.

I can't really help because i don't know the URL but i do alot of WP design so if you need a hand pm me and i'll take a look.

Well in IEx7 I can add an image but cant align in view mode.
In firefox, I can add an image in view mode but messes up the HTML

Use IE7 - and don't edit it, just put it in and go. When you switch to preview/view text it messes it up as soon as it gets the chance.

Hard to explain - but I'm sure you'll figure it out.

This should've been fixed with WP 2.5 - what version are you on?

HI Gavinio: Chris had a look and he can't view post b4 publishing.
Version I have is WordPress version 2.5.1.
Understood about not editing
I think I can work in a basic way, but not tried adding an image again, I dare not in case I knock the whole thing over and out,lol

Yeah, it's a bit of a 'mare.

I think you can kind of put it in in the code form, don't switch to html version and just go.

It's some sort of safety function in Wordpress - there's a file you can edit that solves, it, it's been bothering me for ages too. Let me see if I can find the thread on it...
