Sending mails to hotmail addresses - how?

Hi all

I have been having a nightmare trying to get my contact form to send mails to my hotmail account - it seems nomatter what I do they just never arrive.

I have added spf records to my domain name, I have stripped all the header information that is used by my phpBB and placed it in my own code (phpBB seems to send mails to my hotmail account fine) - But I still cant get it to arrive.

I am really tearing my hair out here - if anyone has some php code using the 'mail' function that does work can they post it here for me before I throw my PC through my god damn window

Hotmail are really useless, they've upped their blocking methods now to try and stop spam, buts its stopping loads of legitimate emails getting through.

Have you tried looking at your maillog (or getting your host to do it), because you're likely to find an error message from the hotmail server that might help diagnose the problem.

I've PM'd you with a code snippet I wrote for a newsletter. You could try using that.

Or let's face it, just use gmail.

Cheers guys I have managed to sort it our. I forgot that spf also take 24 hours to propergate - so tried it again this morning and mail is all arriving ok.

It is a damn shame that spammer ruin it all for the rest of us legitimate users.
