Making Large Numbers of Wordpress Categories Look Nicer?

Hi Guys,

I've been searching for some kind of plugin that will help make the wordpress categories on my Lingerie Site look tidyer. I've had no success despite several hours research.

As you can see they're looking pretty unweildy now and I've got at least another 50 or 60 to add in the coming weeks and months by my reckoning.

I still want them on every page for navigation and also cross linkage, but obviously due to the number of them I don't want to go for an option that will list them on the header navigation bar as I think it would look "odd"

Does anyone have any suggestions? It's a problem I want to solve soonest as its started to bother me!!

Considered that option but decided that it will still be too unwieldy. Also my theme doesn't take to it too well. It broke the last time I tried that!

What about swapping the columns over at least that way you won't get the long category titles taking up 2 spaces.

Can't think of any plugins to tidy them up AND display them all at the same time...

How about using letters of the alphabet in the category list then almost have sub categories within those letters so when you click on a letter it expands, using a plugin like this:
WordPress › Collapsing Categories « WordPress Plugins
