Im just about to code a product review section on my site northwestbands.co.uk - NWB so members can leave reviews of musical instruments. Im using the datafeed from a couple of online music stores.
I was wondering what happens when the store updates their datafeed and I want to update the products in my database accordingly. I notice theres a "affiliate network product id", does this remain the same for a specific product? or does it change every time the datafeed is updated.
Basically I dont want to lose the relationship between the reviews left by my members and the product.
Yeah - this key should remain when you update the feeds unless the merchant is doing something wacky, so your other tables should reference this field.
