Jamster UK sales delay
Ive just checked my sales on zanox and that my last recorded jamster uk sale was on the 22nd Feb.
Is anyone else getting any sales recorded or perhaps there is a longer delay than normal or they are having problems?.
Surely the conversion rates for the uk havent got any lower!!!, i didnt think that was possible.
Ive just checked my google adwords and its cost me £30 to make that one uk sale!!
Cheers
Lee

Checked- is fine !!!
Hi Lee,
We've had an extensive look at your account from Jan to Feb 06 and confirm that there has been no sales from you since Feb 22nd.
I even spoke to Jamster making sure they send their batch report daily so we update it on our system. Checked with our service team, all confirmed just fine. There is no hick up from our side, just that there are no sales from you.
If you wish to discuss this with me further, please either call me or send me a mail. I am happy to assist.
Hope all is well.
Regards,
Yagmur

Apparently it is possible because it has happened, as Yagmur has confirmed.
Frankly, I'm not surprised at Jamster UK hitting new lows.
The glimmer on the horizon might be that they have just appointed somebody to manage UK - having abandoned it for the last few months.
I'd say, don't put too much store by their performance last year - that was exceptional and may never be repeated. Jamster could be expected to recover from the current lows, but not without some effort on their part.
Meanwhile, concentrate your efforts elsewhere.

I think there is enough alternatives on zanox already as well as with other networks to make suitable comparison. I dont think Jamster success was exceptionally due to the fact it was Jamster, i think the ability to have such an order flow and the "boom" period were all contributors. Of course i think theres many millions to be made but i think a lot of merchants and in some cases affiliates never really knew how to sell the product or market in this new environment where customers have to make it especially clear they want to purchase. To a certain degree it was press this button and oops, we got your money baby and if you want to stop it wont be so clear, but there again even if it was we know you the customer might have a little too much apathy to be bothered to stop.
Now that it requires a genuine want, a genuine comitment from from the customer, rather than a passive acceptance i think many of these ringtone schemes have hit hard times while they adjust and come back with a better way of working.
Is a shame but there is still mega bucks in it

I didn't say it was exceptional because they were Jamster.
What I find puzzling is that, having had a marvellous run, because of the factors you mention, Jamster seem to have abandoned the UK market in favour of easier pickings elsewhere.
And to make matters worse, they seem cynically slack about coughing up very minor rewards promised to affiliates during those boom times.

I thinks jamster have had it in the uk, no matter which network. Conversions are extremely poor...I removed links from main pages ages ago but I left existing pages on the server, they still get loads of hits, but conversions are 0001%...no good, unless you get 1m hits a day?
My jamster pages will die next se reindex update, some se quicker than others.
The less links on your home page the better, no hopers just drop em, they would you!

I am still getting a 3% conversion rate, with the few ads that I run for Jamster UK. Not quite like the 10% this time last year, still just about worth running - wouldn't waste valuable home page space on them though!
