Nature’s Best Keyword Buying Guidelines

We are keen for our UK affiliates to use PPC advertising as a means of driving traffic to Nature’s Best, generating sales for us, and of course commission for you. We are happy for affiliates to do this as it generates a lot of exposure for Nature’s Best.

However, Nature’s Best runs it’s own PPC, and this area of our business is growing. We have prepared the following guidelines to avoid any conflict between Nature’s Best and our affiliates. General Guidelines - References to Nature’s Best

We are happy for affiliates to mention Nature’s Best in the title or in the body of adverts. However affiliates should not use Nature’s Best logos with their adverts or use the Nature’s Best URL as the URL displayed in any PPC adverts. (e.g. Google Adwords.) We believe this is misleading for users and appears to duplicate our own adverts.

We have looked at the types of keywords that affiliates use and have split this into two areas:

Generic Keywords

Affiliates wishing to advertise on generic terms are obviously welcome to do so. If the Nature’s Best name is used in the advert it should be clear on the affiliate’s landing page how to get the Nature’s Best content.

The Nature’s Best Name

Advertising on the Nature’s Best name is not permitted. E.g. Nature’s Best, Natures Best - Vitamins, Minerals and Nutritional supplements. UK Mailorder, Natures Best - Vitamins, Minerals and Nutritional supplements. UK Mailorder[/url], etc. We will conduct our own advertising (as required) on our brand name

Wow, I don't know who wrote these terms and conditions but you'd think they would have more sense than to rip them from a direct competitor such as Healthy Direct managed by the team here at blue barracdua who actively participate in these forums.

I guess the key difference is that Healthy Direct pay up to 25% compared to 16% offered by Natures Best.

Healthy Direct T+C's

However affiliates should not use Healthy Direct logos with their adverts or use the Health Direct URL as the URL displayed in any PPC adverts. (e.g. Google adwords.) We believe this is misleading for users and appears to duplicate our own adverts. We have looked at the types of keywords that affiliates use and have split this into two areas: Generic Keywords Affiliates wishing to advertise on generic terms are obviously welcome to do so. If the Healthy Direct name is used in the advert it should be clear on the affiliate’s landing page how to get the Healthy Direct content. The Healthy Direct Name Advertising on the Healthy Direct name is not permitted. E.g. Healthy Direct or http://www.healthydirect.com/hmc/index.jsf. We will conduct our own advertising (as required) on our brand name.

I'll be looking in to this immediately, thank you for bringing this to my attention. These terms have been supplied to Zanox and at no point was it our intention to condone plagiarism.

Hi Paul,

I have just re-posted the amended programme launch / guidelines for Nature's Best.

Please could you pass on our apologies to both Blue Barracuda & Health Direct for any inconvenience caused, this was not something we published knowingly. Zanox do not condone plagiarism however unfortunately these restrictions were submitted as part of the programme, at no point were we aware of the duplication.

Thanks again for bringing this to my attention, I have also resolved this with my contact and the same mistake will not happen again.
