Consumerchoices.co.uk is a rapidly growing award winning price Comparison Company with over 30 staff based in central London. The company operates 10 websites and is the UK’s number 1 comparison company for fixed line residential communications services (broadband, home phone and digital TV packages). Our broadband and home phone comparison services are Ofcom accredited and our spokespeople are widely quoted in the national press and broadcast media.
Over 40 established online brands use our partnership platform to power their broadband, phone & TV comparison services and our partners include household names such as Comparethemarket.com, Confused.com and GoCompare.com. The company has had another year of record results, with over 1.4 million monthly visitors and we are looking for someone to help us take our proposition to exciting new markets.
The role: This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a newly-created position within the UK’s number 1 communications comparison website, based in our central London, Holborn offices. Reporting to the European Business Manager you will be tasked with launching Consumerchoices.co.uk in France. Your mission will be to launch quality comparison services using industry leading technologies. You will be responsible for developing commercial relationships, white label partnerships and search marketing in building a profitable territory.
Responsibilities: The objective of the role is to maximise profit and revenue for each respective territory, delivering targets set out by the business, by doing the following: • Develop strong relationships with provider account contacts (provider direct / affiliate network / media agencies) by regular contact via telephone, e-mail and in person • Present, negotiate and sell initiatives to account contacts that will enhance commercial position for Consumerchoices.co.uk • You will be responsible for recruiting new white label partnerships, negotiating commercial deals to attract new customers • You will be responsible for creating search campaigns, with supporting editorial resources • You will be expected to develop a trade profile within foreign market sectors
Requirements: To secure this role you must have experience of developing online commercial / marketing relationships in French territory. Good at building relationships, you will also be organised and hard working which will be essential to co-ordinating the launch and traffic building activities. Personality is also key and you will need to be energised and enthusiastic to make new business happen in foreign markets. • Strong presentation, sales and negotiation skills • Personable and diplomatic, with the ability to communicate at director level • Native speaker of French, fluent in English • Proven online marketing experience • Strong Analytical and Excel skills • 2:1 degree level qualification or equivalent
