Tech-Savvy Intern At A Leading Technology Start-Up

We are on the lookout for bright graduates or undergrads who want to experience a kick-ass internship at a leading tech start-up. The internship will provide a comprehensive understanding of the affiliate marketing industry and the critical role online merchants (e-commerce stores) play in it, and you will be a part of a fast-paced start-up prominent in the UK and US, and rapidly growing into Europe.

Nearly 10% of our permanent team started via an internship, so you will have the opportunity to progress to a permanent role if you shine in your internship.

About the role

The internship will provide experience in management of merchant clients and you will learn in detail about affiliate marketing and online monetisation in general. You will work on obtaining new merchant clients, supporting our existing online merchant clients, and optimising our merchant relationships. Most importantly, you'll gain experience of working in a rapidly growing technology start-up, learning about all aspects of business and entrepreneurship.

The internship is paid and will run for approx 6-10 weeks.

Merchant Account Geektern Duties

• Setting up, monitoring & logging merchant progress
• Pulling and analysing merchant reports on activities with publishers
• Research of new affiliate markets
• Assisting in the development of relationships with new clients
• Discussing the merchant relationships we currently have and contributing to optimisation strategies
• Contributing to the daily updates of Merchant announcements and offers

• You will have a bachelor’s degree in the business, communication, technology, or other applicable area.
• You possess strong written communication skills, fast typing skills and have the ability to get a point across quickly.
• You are detail-oriented, able to think one step ahead and not afraid to ask questions.
• You have a sense of humour, are ambitious, and love the thrill and madness of working in a start-up environment.
• You live, eat, breathe technology, are interested in the challenges facing online merchants, and have an appreciation of the demands of e-commerce and brand presence on content sites.
• Desired but not necessary - You are fluent in German, ideally with an understanding of what are the popular e-commerce stores in Germany
