An amazing opportunity has arisen within the Argos eCommerce team for an Affiliate Marketing Manager. Working on one of the largest and most sophisticated Affiliate Programmes in the UK, and surrounded by a team of online marketing experts, you will be responsible for developing, planning and executing a programme of affiliate, shopping comparison and online advertising activity to maximise online traffic and profitable sales for argos.co.uk. You will manage a large number of high profile agency relationships as well as having direct line management responsibility for a team of two.

As Affiliate Marketing Manager your main responsibilities will be: To develop and shape an affiliate marketing plan that maximises traffic, sales and exposure through the affiliate channel. The plan should be developed in parallel with the overarching ecommerce marketing plan and must drive profitable sales and visits growth.
To develop partnerships with a range of affiliate businesses and manage relationships with key affiliate marketing agencies to ensure that all advertising collateral, links and promotions are kept up to date and relevant at all times, maximising sales opportunities and affiliate exposure
To maximise the exposure for all company promotions and participate in the development and implementation of the eCommerce promotional plan To provide regular, accurate and meaningful reporting, which informs the online customer acquisition strategy & wider eCommerce decision-making.
To identify trends through detailed analysis and understanding of traffic, in order to capitalise on opportunities. To manage a team of two and manage the affiliates marketing budget.
As Affiliate Marketing Manager your skills & qualifications will ideally include:
eCommerce / Online Marketing / Digital Marketing experience, with a good understanding (and preferably experience) of partnership, affiliate and search engine marketing
Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of managing strong and effective agency relationships Proven ability to prioritise fluctuating workloads and meet deadlines
Ability to manage and develop a small team Strong excel and analytical skills with the ability to create reports and presentations and identify trends Ideally graduate calibre
