In May, Magnetise Group is launching a new online lead generation product that enables advertisers to gather highly customised data that can be used to target their prospects more effectively. Our emphasis is on offering high-integrity data collection solutions that increase quality and response. Due to the strength of our product, we have already negotiated a number of strategic alliances with leading companies within the online media industry.
We are looking for a candidate with a sound experience of online marketing or marketing for an online consumer focused brand. The successful candidate will come from a business where online acquisition is an important and mature process.You may be an up and coming trail blazer ready to take on a more senior level job or an experience hand with P&L responsibilities in your current role.
Your Profile
- Minimum 2-5 years experience within the online marketplace.
- You are experience in working with affiliate networks and possible email and display networks.
- You are self-driven and results oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business growth targets.
- You are analytical with a keen awareness to detail and you have very strong excel skills.
- Ability to multi-task and negotiate confidently.
- A proven track record in marketing an online website/service.
- Experienced with acquiring customers through online channels (including SEO, PPC, display advertising, affiliates, email, partnerships and viral). Please note, we do already have resource for managing SEO and PPC activity.
- You have an excellent understanding of websites and the key levers that impact traffic and conversion rate.
- A positive team player attitude
- tenacious, upbeat, keen, numerate, and enthusiastic.
- Experience in retaining customers through understanding of data, email marketing and CRM.
- Strong client facing/servicing and communication skills.
- Previous experience of success in this area.
The Role
- Set and manage the marketing and acquisition plan. This will include establishing performance targets for our growth and managing and co-ordinating campaign activity to deliver these targets.
- Create, develop and cultivate affiliate and publisher relationships.
- Build a robust communication plan to all media suppliers (individual conversations, email newsletters, etc).
- Responsible for calculating commission payments.
- Attendance to key events and review options for us to sponsor some networking events.
- Create traffic and acquisition reports, campaign reports and forecasts.
- Affiliates are a very important media supplier for us and you will also be responsible for managing and developing relationships with our larger media publishers who will be integrating Magnetise's white-label solution.
- Working with the team to produce tactical marketing strategies.
All applicants must understand the principles of marketing and advertising including product offer development, working knowledge with online customer acquisition techniques and CPM/CPC/CPA/CPL strategies, strong working knowledge of Internet brand, performance and direct-response advertising models and of course, passionate about the web and its potential for advertisers.
