Job Description

Established in 1995, Virtual College is a highly successful blended learning company delivering training into both the public and private sector. Virtual College have an in-house e-content development team and technical team responsible for our e-learning platform (Learning Management System) supporting over 100,000 registered learners.

This new role will be responsible for accelerating the online marketing of Virtual Colleges portfolio of online courses. This will include:

• Working with the technical team to introduce new enhancements to our e-portals/website and Learning Management System to maximise visitors and site conversions

• Defining and implementing an ongoing Search Engine Optimisation program
   
• Managing PPC activities for all websites and to maximise the return on investment from PPC campaign
   
• Managing relationship with partner websites, e-academies and affiliates to drive additional business through these sites
   
• Administration of Google Analytics and other web analytic packages
   
• Design, implementation and management of email marketing campaigns
   
• Proactively seek and implement new business and income opportunities and partnerships
   
• Seek new advertising and link building opportunities to drive demand and conversion to the websites
   
•  Identify further opportunities for promotional activities within the existing customer base through targeted campaigns via learner records etc.
   
• Continual evolution of the e-marketing tools (e.g. viral, blog, social media marketing) to maximise online revenue
  Candidate Requirements:

   

  The key requirements are:

  •  A proven track record in management and maximisation of online marketing disciplines to increase traffic and conversions
     
  • Knowledge of current SEO/SEM best-practice
     
  • Practical knowledge of Google Analytics reporting
     
  • Experience in management of email strategies
     
  • Experience with affiliate programmes
     
  • Experience in writing copy for search engines, blogging
     
  • Good standard of English
