Securing the Sale: Affiliate Technology from Red Letter Days

holder

Released today, technology from Red Letter Days which highlights how advertisers are adapting to ease leakage through the customer journey.

The team at Red Letter Days have launched their new system which can either display or hide the voucher code entry box based on the referring URL. This enables the voucher code box to be shown for 'code' traffic, but hidden for those who haven't pushed a code to their site visitors.

Furthermore, the affiliate link can be adapted to pass a 'deal ID', which then displays the affiliates' agreed special offers throughout the course of the customer journey. This also combats any chance of one affiliate hijacking exclusive deals, as these special offers are linked to the affiliate id.

The system also offers the ability to drill-down offers through sub-categories whilst also combining multiple offers alongside each other.

Anjulie Truong, Team Leader at Affiliate Window, says:

"This is an excellent example of how an engaged merchant has listened to affiliate’s concerns and has actively found a new and innovative way of dealing with these issues. The functionality is extremely flexible, allowing offers and details on the Red Letter Days site to be manipulated at a bespoke affiliate level."
