DGM in Administration whilst Zanox and Digital Window Merge
Big industry news this morning as we see DGM UK Ltd entering administration and the merger of Zanox and Digital Window
Barely a few months after the demise of i-level, its with regret we hear this morning the news that DGM UK Ltd have entered administration.
Letters have been sent this morning by RSM Tenon who are dealing with the proceedings; they can be contacted on 0207 9355566.
We will update you with more details as soon as we have further information or keep an eye on the DGM Forum.
On a more progressive note, Axel Springer AG and the Swiss PubliGroupe AG have this morning announced that they are bringing their majority shareholding in Digital Window, the UK market leader for affiliate marketing, into their common subsidiary company zanox. Combined, they comprise the European market leader for performance-based online marketing under the umbrella of the zanox group.
In their announcement this morning, Philipp Justus, CEO of zanox, says: “With Digital Window, the zanox group becomes the largest company for performance-based online marketing in the UK. Combined with our leading position in Continental Europe, we are now also the leading performance marketing network at European level. As a result, we offer our advertisers even greater reach, as well as direct access to all European markets. Our publishers benefit from new and attractive programmes.”
In terms of their structure here in the UK, the group’s future presence will work exclusively under Affiliate Window and buy.at. Therefore, in the future, zanox’s UK client base will be served by Affiliate Window.
“Aside from the ability to share publishers and advertisers with this extended reach, we now have the opportunity to pool technical resources for joint development projects ensuring we can drive innovation at an even faster pace, ultimately creating new opportunities to add value and generate revenue,” says Kevin Brown, Chief Executive Officer of Digital Window.

So, if they (dgm), owe you money. What do you have to do to get the amount? or It has gone forever?

Sad to hear the news about DGM, which used to be a great company a decade ago. We didn't work with them for the last six or seven years as we had an inkling this may happen.
"Therefore, in the future, zanox’s UK client base will be served by Affiliate Window." The minute they went out of their way to write on the Zanox site that the physical merger between the two entities would not happen when Axel Springer AG and PubliGroupe AG also acquired Digital Window, I knew it would.
Sorry to hear that DGM are no more. Looking forward to seeing all the ex-DGMers in new jobs soon.
Certainly a week for interesting news; changes the affiliate landscape yet again - it will be interesting to see how this shift in Europe affects the US marketplace. Good luck to Charlie and the team in Baltimore.
Also wishing good luck to all the Highgate team who've been friends and competitors over the last 7 years or so.
Hi Nadeem,
Given your obvious prescience, can you let us all know if there are any other networks due to go bust within the next 7 years please?
