Global advertising and marketing company extends the reach of its performance marketing agency to the UK

Publicis Group subsidiary ZenithOptimedia has launched a UK office for its performance marketing agency Performics, according to Campaign Live. Current head of digital, Barry Lee, has been given the new role of managing director while maintaining his previous responsibilities.

Performics offers its Fortune 500 and smaller clients an array of services, including paid search, natural search, social, display, affiliate and mobile marketing solutions. This expansion is proof that the company has become resilient after its brief hiccup when Google took Performic’s reigns as part of its DoubleClick purchase.

The UK branch is set to be staffed by a 55-person team, which will include all the performance marketing executives. The workforce will be responsible for all of ZenithOptimedia’s clients, such as Aviva, O2 and Procter & Gamble. In terms of management, Chief Executive of ZenithOptimedia Gerry Boyle continues to be the person that Lee reports to.
