Biography
Began in online media in 1999 as a publisher and owner of an online sports network, particularly focussing on affiliate and search marketing whilst also building strong partnerships.
One of the first students in the UK to graduate with a BA (Hons) e-business degree undertook at the University of Central Lancashire.
In 2003 joined Johnson & Johnson as e-Business & Marketing Assistant to develop their online marketing techniques. This involved; Online Brand development, launching various B2B & B2C website increasing web traffic whilst developing permission email marketing and search engine marketing strategy
In 2005 joined TradeDoubler as part of an account management team to manage profitable relationships between clients and their affiliate publisher base. Implemented affiliate campaigns for a range of clients across a variety of verticals.
At the beginning of 2006 moved to multi-channel luxury chocolate retailer, Hotel Chocolat as Online Marketing Manager. In 2006, Internet business has grown by over 30%, and now accounts for 70% of mail order sales (43% in 2005). Success was achieved through a combination of increased online acquisition, primarily through high ROI PPC activity, search marketing and affiliate sales.
I have currently just moved to House of Fraser to lead their online acquisitions and naturally will be looking after the affiliate programme to grow from strength to strength.
Also currently studying an IDM Digital Marketing Diploma, due to complete at the end of the year.
