Mobile search is exploding, so much so it's being tipped by analysts to double in proportion of the total search market in just one year, accounting for around 20% of the total search market by the end of 2011.

Did You Also Know?

A single paid search result on a mobile search takes up around 20% of screen space compared to just 4% on a PC, hence click through rates, analysts suggest, are proving to be three to five times higher.

Near Field Communication - Fuelling M-Commerce

Reports suggest that up to 50 million mobile phones equipped with NFC hardware will be shipped throughout 2011. Available with the Samsung Nexus S, Google has the shipping of NFC within handsets at a high priority. It's not only android phones, as the iPhone 5 is rumoured to feature NFC.
