Affiliates4u profile

Once you have signed up to affiliates4u you will be asked to complete a basic profile before you can use the site.

[edit] Basic Summary

The basic profile simply includes your personal details such as Date of Birth, Type (i.e. affiliate, merchant, network, agency or a combination of all of the above), role (i.e. your role within the company), a basic biography and an avatar to represent yourself in posts and articles within the site. You can also include details of the company you are working for, including a logo if you wish, but this isn't compulsory.

Your basic profile page, which can be found by visiting http://www.affiliates4u.com/profiles/User_Name/, also includes your affiliates4u contacts, affiliate events you will be attending and affiliates4u communities you have joined. The aim of the basic profile page is to have all your basic information in one place for ease of access. Finally your basic profile includes a white board, where people can leave comments for you.

The contact page includes, as you would expect, contact information including your address, email and chat addresses, if you choose to show them in your affiliates4u privacy settings. If you include a postcode there is also a Google map showing your location.

[edit] Education

You can include your educational background including the schools and colleges you have attended over the years. Including the name of the institution, start and end dates, course title and any additional information you feel is relevant to your profile.

[edit] Experience

Details of your professional experience. This includes the name of the company you worked for, your dates of employment, position and any other information you choose to give.

[edit] Websites

You can enter details of your websites here. When adding a website you are able to specify whether the site is your primary website. Your primary site will then be shown in situations where we include a link to your website from other sections of affiliates4u.com

[edit] Blogs

The blogs section allows you to enter any number of blogs which are relevant to affiliates marketing. To add a blog you just have to enter the URL or your blog, followed by the URL of the RSS feed (this can be either an RSS or ATOM feed infact). Then you are required to enter the title of your blog, a description and tick that you aggree to your blog being aggregated and shown on affiliates4u.com in the affiliates4u blogs section.
